SUMMARY:Family Service With Annual Blessing of the Back Packs
DESCRIPTION:Approximately 45 children had their back packs blessed at both the 8 and 10:30 services Sunday\, August 5\, as they prepared to go back to school . Mother Liz also called the children up for a special children's sermon. Teachers and others working with children also received a blessing.\n\nThis annual event at St. Matthew's marks back to school and the start of Christian Education programs. Sunday\, August 12 is Registration Sunday\, when children and adults will register for Sunday School and Adult Christian Formation classes. Registration is Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in the parish hall.\n\n
