SUMMARY:Brush With Kindness -- Women's Habitat Painting Project
DESCRIPTION:THE WOMEN OF ST. MATTHEW’S are invited to participate in a Habitat for Humanity (HfH) project called "Brush with Kindness" on August 22 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It is a painting-only project\, and we welcome women of all ages and painting experience! We will be painting the inside walls (and a couple of ceilings) for a family in Buford. HfH supplies all paint\, tools\, drop cloths\, etc. We have a list of the rooms to paint in order of priorities\, and we will work from that. The homeowner has agreed to provide us water\, and lunch will be brought in. SUMMARY:Safeguarding God's Children Training Class
DESCRIPTION:SAFEGUARDING GOD’S CHILDREN is a training class required by the diocese for all volunteers working with children. This class will be offered at St. Matthew’s on Saturday\, August 22 from 10:00 a.m.—12:00 noon. If you will be teaching Sunday School or volunteering with the nursery or Youth and have not taken this class in the past three years please contact Amanda Livermont to sign up for this training.  Please let Amanda know if you need nursery care during this class.\n\n
