DESCRIPTION:URGENT!  Please consider donating blood in honor of Ms. Ellanor Young.  She's the 7 year old niece of Levi and Amanda Livermont\, best friend of cousin Hannah Livermont (in photo)\, and granddaughter of Jack (Sr. Warden) and Pam Denton.  Ellanor (Ella) was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2014.  She is finished with treatment and doing well\, but chances for relapse exist.  Blood donation is an easy way to honor her and other loved ones who have been in need. SUMMARY:Safeguarding Training
DESCRIPTION:If you are working with VBS and have not had the required Safeguarding God's Children   Training\, there will be training after church on July 9th at 12:30 lasting about an hour in the parish hall. This also meets the requirement for a refresher course (needed every 3 years after you've completed the first full training). Those who work regularly with children at church throughout the year (like Sunday School teachers or nursery workers) are required to take this as well\, along with some additional training.  If you'd like to attend the training on July 9th\, or if you have any questions about what you need\, contact Sally Ulrey at:  stmattsyouth@bellsouth.net.
