St. Matthew’s Preschool is an outreach organization of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church.
The purpose of the Preschool is to provide care and development for each child enrolled to his/her greater potential – spiritually, mentally, physically, emotionally and socially. Our Rector leads Chapel every week.
Our kindergarteners, three- and four-year-olds have computer classes every week. All children have music and movement classes once a week.
Classroom activities include Art, Math Skills, Language Development, Small and Large Motor Skills, Playground Activities, Story Time and Free Play Time.
School Year
The preschool school year begins the last week of August each year. The school year ends approximately one week prior to Gwinnett County Public Schools. We follow all Gwinnett County Public School holidays throughout the year. In addition, the preschool will be closed on Good Friday even if the public schools are in session.
