What an incredible weekend! Over the course of three performances, we welcomed 290 attendees, including ticket holders, donated admissions, and our dedicated front-of-house volunteers.
A special thank you goes to every parishioner who attended the show, shared it with friends, or helped spread the word. Our fellowship efforts for this production were a tremendous success, with positive reviews all around. Our audience included theater fans who traveled from as far away as Orlando, Florida, while others came from Alpharetta and Cumming after discovering us through the show’s script website. We also welcomed community members who have attended previous productions, as well as those who simply drove by, saw our sign, and decided to make it a Friday night date night.
Most importantly, none of this would have been possible without the time, talent, and dedication generously given by so many members of our St. Matthew’s family, including our choir and several newcomers who joined our growing theater program. More than 33 volunteers filled roles in the cast, crew, band, front of house, and countless behind-the-scenes positions that are essential to bringing a production like this to life. To them—and to the families who supported them along the way—we offer a heartfelt THANK YOU for the hundreds of hours spent creating something magical while sharing The Word through the arts.
Funds raised through this event support our Capital Campaign, helping provide the resources our church needs to continue serving future generations and strengthening our ability to give back to the community we serve.
Thank you for helping create something truly special. Hang on tight—we can’t wait to see what’s NEXT!
