Saint Matthew’s, we hit it out of the park (yes it is still baseball season !) with our contributions to UTO United Thanks Offering. Our total collection, without records of money donated electronically, is $722.00! What a wonderful response. Seeing the UTO basket fill up this past Sunday was so beautiful. Gratitude turned into generosity is a marvelous thing to see in action.
A Special thanks to our Sunday School teachers who worked to teach the children how to think about gratitude. The white boxes from the children were so beautifully decorated! I think next year everyone should get a white box to color! A big thanks to Mindy and Susan, our advertising geniuses, for getting the word out!
